@Như Gây Mê: I've just made a few contributions. I tend to log in and check my watchlist every other day and I tend to check the recent changes every day. If I am given admin rights I will use them to clean up some of the duplicates etc and will also patrol the recent changes for vandalism and test edits as well as delete speedy deletion requests so I'm still interested in having the admin right, thanks. • Try to summarize what you changed in the "edit summary" section (for example: lock IP, block user, delete article...). Sometimes you may forget your edit summary, this is normal :)
• Please consider carefully before deleting the page (if the article has a page deletion template, you need to check the history before deleting), cases of creating spam articles with inappropriate content can be deleted without review.
• Try not to dispute too much with vandals (Vandalism account, sockpuppet...)
• "Grab your broom" and clean up cebwiki well!

Hi, there was a mistyping on the lemma Cerro Crocket and I moved it to Cerro Crocker. This mistype could be happened onto a copy of google maps. Now it's not correct, that Cerro Crocket redirects to Cerro Crocker, because the hill was never named Crocket in its history. This redirect should be deleted. I'd like to read your answer. Wikipedia should reflect reality and not repeat mistakes made elsewhere. If there is a redirect from Crocket to Crocker, it implies that both spellings are possible, which is actually not the case. Therefore, the redirect should be removed, or a box should be added to this page indicating that it is a misspelling made by other websites. @Doc Taxon: We've corrected a mistake here but leaving a redirect doesn't really repeat a mistake, it helps people who might have linked to the page using the incorrect name or someone searching for the page under the incorrect name from looking at sources that come from GeoNames. If the error was recent and corrected or there was another place or another use of "Cerro Crocket" meaning the redirect would be confusing I'd agree but given its both long-standing and unambiguous it seems best to retain the redirect. @A09: The reason tagged has been en:Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Bertrand101, although I don't know enough about radio stations or this user to say for sure if they are hoaxes they appear to fit that pattern and have been tagged by established users and the articles didn't contain any interwiki which is why I deleted them under relevance not shown rather than vandalism. i would say: there is the province (actually now called "libero consorzio comunale" and no longer "provincia") and the municipality itself that is capital of the province (noi other separation for the municipality itself)

@GiovanniPen: I've moved the municipality to the base name and merged the settlement. This matches both It and En and all the other Wikipedias with the exception of Da and Nl that have a DAB page. I've put a hatnote to the province but maybe that should be moved to something like Provincia di Agrigento but I'll leave that for you to decide as admin tools aren't needed to make such move. Hi, I saw a WMF announcement on Mediawiki about temporary accounts for IP addresses, you can see Trust and Safety Product/Temporary Accounts/Updates/2025-05 Access to IP addresses and Trust and Safety Product/Temporary Accounts/Updates/2025-05 Access to IP addresses on pilot wikis for more information (this permission has just been split into a separate permission that sysops can grant to other users). I also plan to create a page for guide to grant permissions after cebwiki has been updated with Temporary account IP viewers perm, however I'd like to ask for opinions from other sysops. I'd to ask your opinion on whether we should add a page for guide to granting Temporary account IP viewers perms? Personally, I think this is a small wiki community, patrolling is currently just you and me actively working, so I think it's not necessary to create a page to guide this perm up to now. I also don't think there is a significant risk with this permission as IPs can't always easily be traced back to a person and such users are editing with public IP addresses until this changes anyway.
